
Remi Lake, near Kapuskasing, residents are banding together and buying AED (Defibulators) that are being hosted at various home locations. To date, they have bought three at a cost of about $2,500.00 each. According to Denis Berubre, Project coordinator, there are several brands. In preparation for the installation of AEDs at strategic locations around the lake, the FORL in collaboration with 3SFA & Consulting will be hosting a CPR/AED training session on July 29th from 9 :00am to 11 :00am. The cost of the combined course is $30.00 for the 2 hour session and can be paid via e-transfer at : lacremilake@gmail.com. Please use the word « remilake » as answer to your security question. Registration will be limited to 18 per session and will be first come first served. Deadline for registration is July 28th at 4 :00pm. The course will take place at outdoor shelter at Phipps Point (René Brunelle Provincial Park).
