Followed by a Facilitated Community Discussion of Addiction and Recovery

This program is designed to increase awareness of parents, educators, at risk youth and their loved ones for signs of alcohol and drug addictions. We will explore reducing the likelihood of addictions through family and community based education, as well as the variety of available resources for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of addictions.

• 12 step programs and support groups
• Educational Guidance and School task forces
• Detox and short term rehabilitation programs
• Residential (longer term) rehabilitation programs
• The use of naloxone for heroin overdoses
• Family support groups for the loved ones affected by addictions
Join the members of the Commack-Kings Park Rotary Club along with professionals from the treatment community, local school districts and various support groups dedicated to those who are addicted as well as the loved ones who are adversely affected by addiction.
