Walk for a Cause: World's Largest Polio Walk & Social
Join the Rotaract Club of MKE and Rotary clubs across Southeast Wisconsin for the World's Largest Polio Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in honor of World Polio Day! This free 5K walk will take place at the Pettit Center (500 S 84th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) to raise awareness and funds to help end polio.
We are asking Rotaract members and public to arrive early at 9:00 AM so we can help organize the start of the walk, guide attendees to the starting gates, and assist with participant counting before the walk officially kicks off at 10:00 AM.
After the walk, keep the momentum going by joining our post-walk get-together at Ope! Brewing Co. (6751 W National Ave, West Allis, WI 53214). We will be meeting there from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to celebrate with food, drinks, and good company. The walk itself is completely free to attend, though donations are welcome and appreciated to bring us closer to a polio-free world!
