“Whatever Rotary may mean to us,
to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”

—Paul P. Harris

Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris.
The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905
as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.
Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.

November 22, 2013 will be a very special day for The Rotary Club Sun City West.

The meeting will be dedicated to the Rotary Foundation with the awarding of several Paul Harris Fellowships, honoring two non-Rotarian members of the community for their volunteer service and the naming of the Rotarian-of-the-Year.  PDG Craig Wilson will speak about the Foundation funded work in Africa.

There will be other donations handed out to deserving organizations within our community.

We will also have a visit and presentation from our very own Christopher Zambakari, a recipient of The Rotary Peace Fellowship Scholarship.

We meet Fridays at 11:30 AM
