Jesse Ramirez, center, President of the Valley View Community Food Bank, is shown acknowledging receipt of $2,000 from Rotary Endowment Fund President Pieter Vos to support the daily activities of the Food Bank. Rotary Board member Janet Gooltz, shown on the left, presented Mr. Ramirez with additional funds from Club members in the amount of $1,150 to assist the Food Bank in the purchase of turkeys for distribution during their annual observance of Thanksgiving.
