Rotary Meeting 6-30-17 Changing of the Leadership
Rotary Meeting 6-30-17 President Dick Stuckey passes the Gavel to President Elect Tony Sambol.Today's meeting was President Dick's final meeting as President of the club. President Dick was very gracious to everyone for making the Rotary Year 2016-2017 (His Rotary Year) a very FACT year.
FACT (Fun, Active, Celebrate & Truth) was Dick's motto for the year. His leadership embodied FACT as he led the RC of SCW through the year.
As one of his final acts as President, he inducted a new member David Marchi.
President paid tribute to four First Ladies present at the meeting. They were Barbara Murray, Judy Stuckey, Roberta Sambol and Susan Rotundo.
Fun-N-Games was full of winners, a sight we have not seen for a very long time. President Elect Tony took over the meeting after "Happy Bucks" and the Raffle Drawing with the $1,000 staying in tact due to the wrong card be drawn.
Several Rotarians voiced their appreciation for President Dick's Leadership for the last 12 months. Assistant Governor Bob Murray confirmed President Dick's leadership went well beyond the club. The Area 4 Rotary Club Presidents have met monthly for the last 18 month preparing for and fine tuning their Rotary Club Leadership Skills. AG Bob said President Dick was one of the strong leaders of the group and often had very valuable information to share at the monthly Area 4 President's meetings.
First Lady Judy Stuckey was called up to pin a Past President's Pin on her Past President husband.
