TRF Meeting Day ... Great presentations & Speaker.
 
Today was our annual TRF Meeting.  Our Charlotte, our RYE student, & her host mother, Marla, were at our meeting.  President Dick presented Charlotte with her monthly stipend check.  Lou, her counselor, presented her with a gift, tennis shoes each decorated with colors from her homeland and the USA  President Dick inducted two new members Ben & Terry Hayes and their sponsor, Pieter Vos, presented them with their new member package.  We had some PHF & Benefactor presentations.  Robyn received her PHF+7.  New PHF John, Gary (a gift from Johana), Lou & Johana.  Several members received their Benefactor "Wings".  David Simmer gave his "story" about embracing TRF.  How he changed from helping only "my community" to helping the world. "We have the divine gift, the luck of the draw to live in the USA.  Others were not so lucky ... we, the lucky ones, need to give back!"  Kathy Linton closed the meeting with one of her great quotes for her collection of quotes.
