Here we are and another year has gone by us! Roberta and I hope you had wonderful Christmas and New Year celebrations. Doesn’t it make you think twice how you can eat one pound of Christmas pie or cake and gain five pounds? But it is good, right?!

To get the new year started, our club is going to have a “Thank You” lunch for our Fire Department men and women who respond to us when we are in need.  This event will be held on the fourth Friday of January. For this meeting, we will be gathering in the larger “Webb room.” To accomplish feeding the Fire Department crews from stations 101, 102, and 103, I am asking your help by donating $3.00 - $5.00 at each of the first three meetings in January. This should meet our financial obligation for their food.  Thank you for supporting this event!

I would also like to know if you plan on bringing your spouse or friend, so that we can plan on having the right amount of food for all of us. Please let me know by email before January 12th.
