At our May 5th Zoom meeting, we met Tanya Shymanchuk. Our Club is proud to support her application for one of up to 50 fully funded Rotary Peace Fellowships being awarded for Master’s degrees. The program educates current and emerging peace leaders from throughout the world, enabling them to act as catalysts for peace in their communities.
Tanya is a dedicated young Ukrainian woman who is assisting displaced persons during the conflict in her country. She plans to continue to work in Ukraine as part of their peace building team.
