At today's Zoom meeting, PDG Charlie Teagarden reported on Rotary's progress to End Polio Now. Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only two endemic countries left in the World. He announced the formation of the Polio Plus Society. Rotarians commit to $100/year until Polio is eradicated. All donations are matched 2:1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Donations made before World Polio Day (October 24) will receive double recognition points.
