On November 6, District Governor Jim Erickson made his official club visit (along with his wakeboard and sunglasses) to present several awards and encourage participation in End Polio Now.
Two of the four Interact clubs in our district which received the 2017-18 Presidential Citations were our Interact Clubs.

The Club awarded Paul Harris Fellows to Kristen Stevenson for her tireless work over the years with Challenger Middle School and assistance in forming the Independence High School Interact, Teresa Haire Giarrusso for her contributions as Chair of our Satellite Club and President Elect and Kaley Gilmore for her role as Inbound Chair of Rotary Youth Exchange.
