The Rotary Club of Sun City/Sun City Satellite again this year supported the Community In-Reach WinterFest at Challenger Middle School in Glendale on the evening of December 11. The event was put on by PTSA members, Rotarians and Interacters on school grounds in cooperation with Challenger Middle School Staff and the Glendale Unified School District. Several hundred Challenger students and their families participated.
Our Challenger MS Interacters were also very involved again this year, with the corn-hole games, face painting, crafts, ticket sales, and just generally being terrifically helpful wherever they were needed.
The Rotary football-throw game is a perennial favorite with all the kids...and a lot of parents!
