Back-to-School Shopping

On Wednesday July 23, our club had four volunteers who assisted the Salvation Army in their back-to-school clothing shopping at the Walmart in Peoria.  About 170 children and their parents were served in two shifts by 75 volunteers. Many of the volunteers were service men and women from Luke Air Base and some from the local Honda car dealership. It was a lot of fun, a rewarding experience and the families were very appreciative.
