Anthem Rotary Foundation: Making a Difference in Anthem and Around the World

The Anthem Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of the Anthem Rotary Club, providing financial support and resources to nonprofit organizations, community programs, youth initiatives, health and wellness causes, veterans, families in need, and humanitarian projects in Arizona and around the world.

Our Foundation puts the Rotary principle of Service Above Self into action. Funds raised through Anthem Rotary events, charitable contributions, sponsorships, and individual donations are returned to the community through organizations and programs that make a measurable difference in people's lives.

Our service reaches from the greater Anthem area to communities and countries worldwide.

Helping Families in Need

Meeting basic needs is one of the most direct ways we can help our neighbors. The Anthem Rotary Foundation has supported food banks, charities, and service organizations that provide food, emergency assistance, clothing, financial help, and other essential resources to individuals and families experiencing hardship. These partnerships allow us to reach people throughout our community when they need help most.

Investing in Youth

Anthem Rotary makes young people a key focus of our service. Our support ranges from helping children facing economic hardship to encouraging leadership, education, literacy, recreation, and community service.

Ray of Hope Youth Program 

The Ray of Hope Youth Program helps economically disadvantaged and underserved young people in Anthem and surrounding communities. Working with schools and community partners, the program provides assistance based on real needs identified among local students and their families.

Support can include food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, gift cards, and other necessities that help remove barriers young people face at home and at school.

The annual Ray of Hope Walk for the Kids brings the community together to raise funds and awareness for this important work.

Our commitment to youth extends to the Navajo Nation through our support of NavajoYES and other initiatives.

Our annual Navajo Youth Bike Drive collects donated bicycles and gets them to Navajo children. Anthem Rotary has also supported programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, outdoor recreation, education, and opportunities for young people living in Navajo communities.

Youth Leadership, Education and Scholarships

Anthem Rotary supports programs that help young people learn, lead, and succeed. Through scholarships, school partnerships, youth service organizations, and educational programs, we invest in opportunities that can have an impact long after the initial contribution. Supporting Health and Wellness

Health challenges affect entire families and communities. Anthem Rotary supports organizations working to prevent disease, provide medical care, advance research, encourage blood donation, and improve quality of life for people living with serious illnesses.

Our involvement includes both financial support and hands-on service, giving members opportunities to contribute their time and charitable resources. Organizations and initiatives supported by Anthem Rotary have included:

Honoring and Supporting Those Who Served

Anthem Rotary recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, and their families. Making a Difference Around the World

Rotary is an international organization, and the Anthem Rotary Foundation's reach extends far beyond Arizona through The Rotary Foundation. We have supported international humanitarian initiatives addressing poverty, disease, economic opportunity, mobility, education, and other fundamental needs.

Arizona Rotary Microcredit Program

Microcredit programs provide small loans and other resources that can help entrepreneurs build businesses, generate income, and create greater economic independence in underserved communities.

Global Schistosomiasis Alliance

Through Interact and Rotary connections, Anthem Rotary has supported efforts to combat schistosomiasis, a parasitic disease that affects communities in parts of the developing world. Projects like these show how local Rotary involvement can help solve major global health problems.

Amigos de Guatemala

Anthem Rotary has supported humanitarian work in Guatemala, helping extend our commitment to service to communities where relatively modest resources can make a substantial difference.

Crutches for Africa

Crutches for Africa provides mobility equipment to people who otherwise may have little or no access to wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and other mobility devices. Supporting mobility can transform a person's ability to attend school, work and participate in community life.

PolioPlus

Anthem Rotary also supports Rotary International's historic effort to eradicate polio. For decades, Rotary members worldwide have raised funds, advocated for vaccination programs, and worked with global health organizations to bring polio to the brink of eradication. Local contributions to PolioPlus become part of one of Rotary's most ambitious and enduring humanitarian efforts.

Service at Every Level

What makes the Anthem Rotary Foundation distinctive is the breadth of our service. A contribution might help stock a local food bank, provide necessities to a struggling student, support a scholarship, give a Navajo child a bicycle, assist a veteran, help a child receive medical care, provide mobility equipment to someone in Africa, or contribute to the worldwide fight against polio.
