Anthem Rotary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We transform lives in our local community and around the world.

Since 2003, the Anthem Rotary Foundation has contributed well over $1 million to those in need. In 2025 alone, our foundation plans to contribute more than $100,00 and countless volunteer hours to local, national, and international causes.

  • Our Youth programs include contributions to the Ray Norris Youth At Risk Program, Teen Challenge, Boulder Creek High School organizations, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, and Youth Exchange.
  • Our Families in Need programs support local causes like Foothills Food Bank, St Vincent de Paul Food Bank, St. Mary's Food Bank, Anthem Cares Through Service (ACTS), and We Care Foundation of Arizona.
  • Our Educational Scholarship programs support causes like the Edward F Varney Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA).
  • Our Health & Wellness programs support causes like Prostate Onsite Project, Vitalant Blood Center, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and End Polio Now.
  • Our First Responder, Military, and Veteran Support programs support causes like Youth For Troops, Daisy Mountain Veterans, and Daisy Mountain Firefighters Charities.
  • Our Community Arts and Parks programs support causes like Musical Theatre of Anthem, Black Canyon Heritage Park, and Don't Dump In Our Desert.

Why should I donate to The Anthem Rotary Foundation?

Your donation makes a difference to those who need our help most. More than 90 percent of donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the world.

Do donations to Anthem Rotary Foundation all stay in the Anthem area?

Most of our causes are centered on the needs of our local community. In addition, we also provide support to various Rotary charitable projects around the world, from Mexico to Africa and beyond.

Are any donations used to pay for marketing expenses or employee salaries?

No. Anthem Rotary Foundation doesn't use its donation income to pay for advertising or office staff salaries. Anthem Rotary Foundation is a 100% volunteer-driven 501C3 with minimal overhead expenses. When we execute our fundraising and service projects, there are some nominal operating expenses, but these are typically less than 10% of our revenues.

For any raised funds directed to the Rotary Foundation, you can be assured that this money is well-managed. The Rotary Foundation has received the highest rating — four stars — from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities in the U.S.
