Club Details and Position Overview

The Rotary Club of Tillsonburg been a proud part of this community for over 70 years. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together. We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.

Informing the community on the projects and fundraisers that we involved with is very important to helping us achieve our goals. We need a marketing coordinator who is willing to work with our club members to share these updates.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for refreshing the club marketing plan (with support from the Communications Committee), developing marketing collateral and distributing via Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), period news/magazine articles/press releases/advertisements, and updates to the club website.

Expectations / Eligibility:

Available to volunteer, on average 2-3 hours per week
Passion for marketing growth and to make positive impact to community via dedicated support to a non-profit organization
Strong accountability and dedication for supporting a non-profit organization
Entry level experience in marketing preferred. The candidate must be familiar with general marketing concepts, use of social media etc. We have resources involved with the club with marketing experience and are open to work with someone who wants to develop their skills in this field.
Team player, adaptable, comfortable with agile development and evolution process
