Trip of the Month - we have 230 tickets sold and with 6 weeks left before we close off sales, we need to make sure we sell out the remaining tickets.

Speaker:  Rick Cox introduced Deputy Fire Chief Terry Saelens who told us about the work the Department does out of the public eye.
The Fire Department serves as the Fire Communication and Dispatch Center for 25 fire stations across 15 areas and towns.  In 2016, they responded to 2328 Emergency Calls and 261 of these were Fire Calls in Tillsonburg.  He estimates the property value saved as $7.5 million.  The Department also did 34 Station Tours and Presentations.

President Brian Clark thanked Deputy Chief Saelens  for a very informative presentation about the work the Department does behind the scenes as well as the work we see in the community.  We will donate 10 Polio Vaccines in the Department's name in appreciation for this presentation.
