Rotary Club of Paramaribo Quota (Rotary Quota) is a service club whose members are committed to socially disadvantaged groups in Suriname. The club is part of the Rotary International network, which consists of more than 46,000 clubs spread across the world. Rotary Quota has been the legal successor to Quota International of Suriname since June 7, 2021, and as such has been committed to its target groups since 1997.
Every year, Rotary-Quota organizes various activities to raise funds to carry out projects for the benefit of its various target groups. Rotary Quota's largest and best-known fundraising activity is the Quota Men Cook Out (QMCO), where men from inside and outside Suriname prepare the most delicious dishes, sell them and then donate the proceeds to Rotary Quota. The proceeds from the fundraising activities are spent on realizing projects for the benefit of the club's target groups, of which children and adults with disabilities, malnourished and neglected children, and senior citizens are some.
