Finally, after being stored for months in Juba, South Sudan, the well drilling equipment which was shipped from Marshalltown has arrived in Old Fangak.  The next step in this frustratingly slow process is securing signatures to complete the grant application for funds from District 6000 and Rotary International which will be used to finish the project.  Well drilling teams in Old Fangak will be trained and the drilling will begin.  These wells are even more critical to the  health and survival of South Sudanese citizens now than they were when we first started this project.  Drought and continued fighting between the Dinka and Nuer tribes have combined to cause the population of Old Fangak to grow exponentially, and clean, safe water is in very short supply.  Thanks to Dennis Drager and Greg Brown for their tenacity in overseeing this project.
