Do you know that the sign at the entrance of the Nicholson-Ford Park at the east end of Marion Street shows Rotary as a financial sponsor of the park? Because of our name being on the sign, Bill Fitzgerald received a call asking why no one was picking up litter there. Fitzgerald asked for volunteers, and a small group showed up on August 23rd to pick up trash, run weedeaters, and trim bushes. In just a couple hours, we more than filled Dragers' dump truck with brush and weeds and filled trash bags with litter.
