We have now received more than $10,000 from District 6000 Rotary clubs and their members! Our board has been carefully considering how best to use these funds to make a lasting impact on the community. We have learned that Habitat for Humanity groups from across Iowa are planning to focus their efforts on Marshalltown beginning next spring. We have made the decision to support them. We don't know what all that will entail; certainly, we will be helping to pay for materials. During the intervening months, we will develop a plan, solicit donations from our members, possibly do additional fundraising, and ask those of you with construction skills to volunteer some time. This is a work in progress, so please, share your ideas with President Garber. If any of you would like to take a lead role in this project, let us know.
