Our Johnston Rotary Club member, Shawn Miner, presented the good work that the Kids' Chance / SFM Foundation does with scholarships in helping young people succeed. SFM Foundation provides scholarships to make higher education possible for students whose parents were fatally or seriously injured while working for Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa employers, regardless of insurance carrier. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic merit, community service and other factors.
