Mark Carter with Trailhead International (TI) was the program for today. TI provides homes for homeless churches as well as providing literary and feeding and sport and community centers throughout the world to those in need. They do this with the mission of doing both “Good things” as well as “God things” while promoting the hope and love of Jesus Christ and by serving the physical and spiritual needs of people.
Currently, they have 6 projects worldwide including those in Nicaragua and Cambodia. Their philosophy is to take every chance they can to do a good thing and then see what God does with their efforts.
They are a 501(c)(3) qualified entity and are significantly supported by the David Pettit Foundation. Mr. Pettit through a company he owns, (Encompass) further helps support TI via a private golf course for families or small companies to use for private golf outings. The golf is free but those who use it do make a voluntary tax deductible contribution to TI.
