Johnston Rotary Club members Mike Schoville, Grant Jacobson, Bob Wiley, Gene Nelsen, and Greg Baker participated in a bike ride around Johnston to raise funds for the eradication of polio around the world. Currently, only a handful of polio cases are occurring and they are in the Middle East and Africa. Eradication is close at hand.
Following that ride was a Club social gathering in celebration of the huge strides Rotary International has made in polio eradication.
