Blood has been in short supply. Donations can help save a neighbor, a friend, a family member or a stranger! The Johnston Rotary Club decided to organize a blood drive and hosted the event.
New Rotary members; Neal Hyde, Jason Wiegert, Alex Holm and Miles Summa made it happen with their organizational skills. This successful blood drive was also facilitated by Life Serve Blood Center for blood collection, the Johnston City Hall with an available room, and Hy-Vee with their Pint-for-a Pint program. Local residents and Rotarians came out to donate in significant numbers and made this endeavor a success.
