Dr. Tom Quick, dentist at Dental Associates in Grimes was our speaker today. He gave us an excellent presentation about his background, Dental Associates activities and the latest procedures and developments in dentistry. In his over 30 years of dentistry, he has seen tremendous technology changes for the benefit of patients, as well as dentists.
Their new facility in Grimes is state-of-the art. They offer many procedures that were previously done outside the facility, to be done in house and completed the same day. For example, if a new crown is required, ALL the patient work is completed that day and the patient ultimately leaves with a permanent, new crown. Previously, patients would leave that day with a temporary crown and come back at later date to receive their new crown made by a third party.
