On July 24th, new District Governor Tom Norak and his wife Carol made their official visit to the Rotary Club of Johnston.  Prior to the morning meeting, they met with the Board the evening before outlining his plans for the District.  Later in the meeting, the Johnston Board discussed their past plans and future projects.  While visiting with the entire membership at the morning meeting, he issued a challenge for every member to invite at least one guest to a meeting sometime during the 2018-2019 Rotary year.  He also advised us he would like to put emphasis on literacy, child abuse, and polio prevention during his term as district governor.
