David Roederer, the recently retired State Director of the Department of Management spoke today. Dave retired last month after 38 years in State Government, including the last 10 years as Director of the Department of Management. A major responsibility of this Department is to develop the State Budget. Iowa has a strong legacy of fiscal responsibility with a goal of "living within its means."
