Brian Buethe, President and CEO of the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development Group gave us an update on some of the many development activities currently happening in Grimes, as well as those on the drawing board. The development activities list is long and consistent with the many projects we see occurring in Grimes.
Brian talked about how Grimes is one of the fastest growing cities in Iowa. There are many reasons for this dramatic growth, and they are resulting in a very appealing community to live comfortably, have an active lifestyle, and raise a family. Brian talked about how the Grimes community is comprised of great neighborhoods, excellent schools, and enjoyable destinations that make living there fun and meaningful.
There was a Q&A at the end where Brian responded to numerous questions on various topics like new commercial developments, the recently announcement recreational complex, the recently completed 141 flyover and apartment developments.
