Brad Johnson has spent the majority of his life in Iowa. He graduated from Hoover in 1983 and then went on to study at Iowa State. From there he joined the Marines until he decided to pursue a career in the restaurant industry. Eventually Brad made his way into real estate. In May of 2014 he joined Keller Williams and has enjoyed working there ever since.

Keller Williams is the largest real estate franchise int he world. Currently, they employ over 157,000 agents world-wide. With a focus on God, family, and business (in that order) they have built a company and brand that receives annual recognition. In 2016, Keller Williams was name the top training organization across all industries and continues to strive to develop an atmosphere that invests in their employees and local communities.

Red Day first came about in the early 90's as a way to give back. Every year, on the second Thursday of May, KW offices around the globe are closed so employees can participate in varying community projects. Past efforts have included rebuilding homes, contributing to food drives, hosting fun runs and refurbishing local parks. While Red Day may occur on only one day a year, it is only a small part of an ongoing initiative of KW to invest in their communities and give back to the people that support them.

Brad partnered with the VFW last year to work on roof repairs, bathroom remodeling, painting and other tasks. The effort was a major success, as the KW team will be returning this year to continue the work they started. On May 11th the KW Ankeny Metro team will be volunteering during the day, and will be hosting an event from 6-8 PM on site. Tickets are required for entry. Funds raised will go to support VFW post 9662. Food will be provided along with entertainment.

Please contact Brad if you are interested in helping out or want to attend the event!
