The May 20 meeting featured a tour of the new AM Rotary Website by Webmaster, Amanda McFadden, and a club work session to continue working on our Visioning project and the four goal areas that the club selected as priorities.
President Vernette divided the group into the Four Areas of Focus:
Save the Environment
Literacy and Education
Peace and Conflict Resolutions
Disease Prevention
Vernette asked each team to evaluate what goals have been accomplished this year and what are the plans for next year 2025-2026.
Team members asked new members to join in the focus of their choice.
After 15 minutes each team reported.
President Knapp called the meeting to order.
Margy Winkler announced that there will be a 1440 West High Interact Trivia Night, Tuesday May 27, at City High at 6:30 PM. Cost is $5.00 per person.
Teams of no more than 5.
Amanda McFadden demonstrated the new website for ICAM Rotary. The site is not live yet but will be soon. The site will be a more appealing "front door" for the club to show potential members and others looking for information about the club what projects the club is involved in, our activities and programs. The new site will not replace Club Runner but will enhance our existing social media sites.
