At our last meeting our Sergeant at Arms was Linda Harris, who gave each table pictures related to tax season and had us come up with captions for each picture. 
 
Norma Bettis was our Rotarians of the Day and introduced Cyndi Fisher, who spoke about Education Drives our Greater Economy, or EDGE for short. Economic success in Central Iowa has long been tied to the cultivation of the state’s most valuable resource: its human capital. Today, the Human Capital implementation council takes that vision one step further, seeking a Cradle through Career approach that includes elementary, secondary, and higher education as well as adult re-skilling. This initiative has been named “Education Drives Our Great Economy” or EDGE.
 
Wednesday our Sergeant at Arms is Ned Looney and our Rotarian of the Day is Dirk Halupnik who will introduce Phil Cronin to talk about the Industrial Expo at South East Polk.
