Last week we met in our committees to plan future activities and report to the club.

Thanks so much to all the Rotary members who helped with the Caring Hands Hunger Run/Community Picnic on a rainy Sunday afternoon.  The aroma of the pork roast was very prevalent the minute you came on the grounds.   Many hands made fast work of the pulled pork, and several other members helped to get everything set up and ready for the picnic.  I think everyone agreed the pork was delicious, and they also enjoyed the yummy desserts brought by the ladies from Rotary.  A special thanks to Clay Willey and Prairie Meadows for the potato salad and baked beans.  All in all it was a special day despite the miserable weather.

The Rotary Board members meet with District Governor Tom Narak and his wife Carol at Eric Borseth's office tonight at 7 p.m.  We are excited to report on the projects we've been involved in this past year, and anxious to learn Governor Narak's goals for the coming year.  He will be at our meeting in the morning to present these to the whole club.  Please plan to attend this important meeting.
