Most members know Rtn. Dr. Daniel Ruwheza as the ever-cheerful Head of the Department of Law and Jurisprudence at Makerere School of Law. But did you know that Nelson also plays an important part in the same Makerere ecosystem?
By day, Nelson serves as Assistant Commissioner in charge of Human Resource Management at the Ministry of Local Government—a major leadership role in public service. And on top of that, he holds a key oversight position as a member of the Establishments and Appointments Board of the Makerere University Council, the body that keeps an eye on staffing, structure and governance matters across the University—including the School of Law.
In short: Daniel runs the department. Nelson helps keep the institution accountable and well-governed.
