President Stella (Middle) Presiding Over The Recently Concluded Charter Night Celebrations
Greetings Rotarians and Friends, Thank you for your continued reading of the KNN news bulletin. The rotary calendar is quite busy and has ensured that we fully engaged over the last few months.
On Thursday 25th September 2025, a team of 22 members (15 Rotarians, 6 Rotaractors & 1 Guest) visited WAKISA Ministries in line with the club’s plan to identify and partner with individuals and organizations that have served humanity through their vocation.

On 29 September 2025, Rotary Club of Kampala North meets Rotary Club of Kampala South for a joint fellowship—eleven years to the day since our last joint on 29 September 2014. That first gathering drew all the Monday Clubs into one buzzing room at Hotel Africana; this time, we’re keeping the circle close: just RCKN and RCKS at Roza DyM Restaurant, a venue built for eye-level conversations and easy laughter.
Rtn. Juliet Rwatooro is an active member of Rotary Club of Kampala-North and joined Rotary on 31-Dec-2013. Now in her 11th year of service, she continues to embody our values of fellowship, integrity, and service above self. Juliet celebrates her birthday on 28-Nov. Away from club activities, she is preparing for her wedding on November 15th, 2025—please join us in congratulating her and wishing her joyful preparations.
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, we lace up for the Rotary Club of Kampala North’s Bonding Walk—our second edition. Think of it as a moving conversation: step by step through Lubowa, stories spill out, new friendships click into place, and the laughter carries farther than the road. This year, our President Stella opens BLOOMS HAVEN to host us—fresh air, easy paths, and a setting made for connection.
We’re also keeping a thread with last year’s launch. On October 9, 2024, we kicked off the very first Bonding Walk from Kampala Club—same date, same spirit. That morning set the tone for what this is becoming: a simple, joyful club tradition that turns a public holiday into shared momentum. If you’d like a quick look back, here’s the photo coverage from last year: 2024 photos:https://photos.app.goo.gl/txqhoxwaSrANB2Mq9
Arrive with comfortable shoes, a curious spirit, and a promise to cheer someone on. By the time we cool down, you’ll have traded a few stories, broken a healthy sweat, and topped up the fellowship that powers our service.
