The Sam Owori Rotary Vijana Poa (SORVP) Project committee held weekly meeting on Wednesday September 17th and discussed progress on each of the project components.
- Carpentry Equipment: The scope of work for the carpentry equipment has been adjusted to make things more manageable. We're just waiting on a final green light from the top bidder before we can move on to the Contracts Committee.
- A New Leader: To keep things running smoothly, Penny has officially stepped up as our committee's new vice chair. This will help us avoid any slowdowns when Frank is busy.
- Security on Site: The budget for two-armed security guards has been approved! We have UGX 2,478,000 set aside for this, and Priscilla is working on getting the details for our security team.
- Tight Deadline: Just a heads-up: we're on a tight 90-day schedule, so we need to get our contractor on board soon.
