President’s Remarks

Greetings Rotarians and the wider Rotary family. Thank you for opening your eKNN today. I have no doubt you will keep returning, since it remains the true source of information on what we are doing in the Rotary Club of Kampala North—and always a rewarding read.

Thank you for attending the Club Assembly last week. A lot was discussed and agreed upon. For those who may have missed the Assembly or would like a quick recap, you can read a summary of the proceedings here:

President’s Remarks

Greetings Rotarians and the wider Rotary family. Thank you for opening your eKNN today. I have no doubt you will keep returning, since it remains the true source of information on what we are doing in the Rotary Club of Kampala North—and always a rewarding read.

“Rotary thrives when every member stays informed, engaged and connected.”

Thank you for attending the Club Assembly last week. A lot was discussed and agreed upon. For those who may have missed the Club Assembly or for a quick recap of the deliberations, you can read a summary of the proceedings here: Club Assembly Summary .

As your Executive Team, we shall do our best to implement all your decisions. I extend gratitude to the Bwaise Buddy Group for leading fellowship that day and for the generous contribution to Happy Shilling. To all members who attended the fellowship and Club Assembly and helped ensure a healthy, engaging debate—thank you. Appreciation also goes to everyone who contributed to Happy Shilling. Your generosity enables us to raise funds that run the club and contribute to meeting our goals for the year and beyond.

I am pleased to report that all procurement has been completed, and we should now prepare to visit SORVPV to check on the progress of the foundation for the girls’ dormitory. On 7th March 2026, we shall be hosting our signature fundraising event, and with your support, it promises to be a great success.

The wonderful Home Hospitality hosted by Rtn. Samwiri Katunguka at Kiwatule Country Club on Saturday, 29th November 2025, truly energized us as we entered the December festive season. Let us reach out to our members who are unwell, those with Anne(s) who are unwell, and those with Andy(s) who are unwell. Let us remind them that out of sight does not mean out of mind; let them know that we are thinking about them and praying for their quick recovery.

As we enter the final weeks leading to Christmas and the New Year, I wish you fruitful preparations for the festive season and success in completing all your desired goals for 2025.

With gratitude,
Stella Alibateese
President, Rotary Club of Kampala North
