President’s Remarks
Rotary Club of Kampala North
Greetings Rotarians, Rotaractors, and friends. It is Monday yet again! I trust you all had a good weekend. The functions were many and meaningful.
Afro Jazz Fundraising Dinner
The Rotary Fellowship for Campers hosted a fundraising dinner at Fairway Hotel, while we held the first-ever Afro Jazz Fundraising Dinner. It was a meaningful event where we interacted, shared a meal, and enjoyed jazz performances.
This fellowship achieved the intended objective: raising money for the construction of the girls’ dormitory at SORVPV. Thank you for making this impact possible.
Our Collective Impact
Special gratitude goes to the organisers—Rtn Sharon, Rtn Edna, and PE Olive—supported by many others. We also thank RC Kigo Seven Lakes Golf for their substantial financial support.
I also extend gratitude to:
- Rtn Kenneth Kimuli (aka Pablo) for serving as our MC.
- PP Stephen Ssendi for recording the event for our archives.
- PP Frank Ssebbowa for speaking on the SORVPV project.
- CP Abel Katahoire for introducing our guest.
- Tusu, Trustee Elect of The Rotary Foundation, for highlighting the importance of youth and intergenerational impact.
Partners in Service
We are grateful for the support of our partners who made this success possible:
