It’s yet another fellowship in the rotary year 2025-2026. However this is not just any Monday. It’s the second last Monday in the month of September. The end of September signifies that the first quarter of the rotary has quickly gone by. It signifies that Presidents must ponder on what they have achieved since the rotary year began, what is working and what is not working. For the Rotary Club of Kampala North, it is critical for us to reflect on the progress of implementing our work plan. For instance l, as a team leader, have you reviewed your progress, have you shared your progress report with other committee members and with the board? As a member, have you evaluated yourself? How many fellowships have you attended? Have you regularly read the club assembly papers and contributed to the discussion at club assembly? Are you a member of a service committee? How are you supporting the activities of the club or that service committee? Have you made your contribution to humanity either through service, fundraising, and other ways ? How have you contributed to a more fun and impactful club?

Organizations are made up of people and are managed by people. Your contribution therefore matters. To those who have made the effort, I and the executive team are grateful. We see you. We see your efforts. We continue to applaud you. Thank you. If you are that member that is still around the corner (LOL) , we shall not give up on you. We are waiting for you just as you finish the corner 🤣.
On 25th September 2025, we shall have our first vocational tour of the year at Wakisa Ministries. Let us sign up in big numbers. On the same day we shall also have our monthly board meeting. I cannot wait to receive the reports from the various committees and see the progress we have made. On 9th October 2025 , we shall have our annual bonding walk. I attended the walk last year and had a great time. I know this year will be bigger and even better! I encourage us to sign up in big numbers.
Lastly, the early bird registration for the DCA ends on 31st October 2025. Why pay more?
We continue to commiserate with those who have lost loved ones- PDG Bob for your nephew, and Rtn Garvin for your Mum . Please accept our condolences. For our members who have achieved milestones, we congratulate you Rtn Ephraim on your 46th wedding anniversary and Rtn Iggy on your 50th anniversary.
You , our members, are the heart beat of the rotary impact. We appreciate all the contributions you give. Be it funds, time, expertise, friendship and much more.
