To be effective, a Rotary club needs members. Our club's ability to assist local and international communities, support The Rotary Foundation, and develop leaders capable of serving Rotary beyond the club level is directly related to the strength, size, and involvement of its membership base. The membership committee ensures a concerted effort to recruit new members and retain current ones. This ongoing process is essential to supporting Rotary International, which needs a dedicated club membership base to succeed. The membership development committee is primarily responsible to develop and execute strategies involving the membership in recruiting and keeping our members. The committee typically meets monthly before the Thursday weekly meeting.
