Riverbend Foodbank-Volunteer Event

The Rotary Club of Davenport is partnering with Riverbend Foodbank with their inaugural Warehouse Food Pantry on Wednesday, January 4. Funding of the event is coming from the Community Service Grant we received from District 6000.
Volunteers are needed to staff the event. Set up starts at 3:30, with distribution taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. We will be helping load boxes of food for the clients that attend the event. We will also help with "wagon trains" putting the boxes of food into red wagons and then hauling the food to the client's cars. We are encouraged to dress considered the weather that day since the warehouse is not heated that much.
