Brag Bucks:
  • Bob F. – Iowa State won this weekend
New Business:
  1. Auction Update:
    1. Newspaper/Radio ad started on Friday; story in the paper tomorrow
    2. Cash donations are still coming in.
    3. Everything that we have for the auction is in and loaded to the website.
    4. We will know the time of the live auction on Sunday, November 5th.
  2. Blessman International
    1. Feminine kits – motion by Chris for $500, 2nd by Bob F.
    2. Motion pass
  3. Carroll Fire Department
    1. Appreciation supper is scheduled for Monday, November 20th at 6:15 PM.
    2. Supper will be made by Carroll Country Stores
    3. Please mark your calendars to attend. It would be nice to have as many of us there as possible.
  4. Rotary Magazine Price Increase
    1. Bob F., Bob W., Hubert currently read the magazine.
    2. Adam and Catti to send a communication out about who would like to keep subscriptions.
  5. Merchants Park
    1. Request for donations to make improvements to the stadium.
    2. We can commit to sponsoring a level and break it up across a couple of years.
    3. Is there going to be a donation recognition board recognizing those that donate?
      1. Adam checking into this.
      2. We will vote once we know if there will be recognitions for the donations.
  6. Tanzania Water Projects
    1. Ames Rotary Club is the lead on the project.
    2. Hy-Vee is a main contributor.
    3. Motion by Hubert to donate $500 for the next 4 years, 2nd by Bob W.

  7. Kids Christmas
    1. Saturday, December 2nd
    2. Santa will be present.
    3. Bomgaars, Carroll Lion’s Club and Carroll Rotary sponsor
    4. Motion for Kid’s Christmas donation by Bob F., 2nd by Chris

  8. Carroll Food Pantry
    1. Bob F. motion for $250, 2nd by Ann
