Club Business:

New member: Steve Fischer (Carroll Newspaper) – Bob motion, Ann 2nd
 
Programs:      8/12 – Scott Aden – CHS middle school principal to talk about mentor program
                        8/19 – board meeting – possible program
                        8/26 – Cookie’s BBQ tour – meet at plant in Wall Lake at noon
                        9/2 – Labor Day – no meeting
 
RSVP Golf Tournament: John, Catti, Chris and Casey (?) representing Rotary in RSVP tournament on 8/16/24.
Annual fundraiser:
  1. Need a new idea
  2. A lot of work and the same Rotarians are doing the work and buying the items
  3. Maybe do smaller fundraisers throughout the year
    1. Partner with another club
Rotary officers:
  1. Coming up with a plan for succession of transition of officers
    1. Restrictions on terms
    2. Attendance is necessary
  2. President, Treasurer, Program Director, Community Service Director – open seats
Membership:
  1. Continue to recruit new members
  2. Quality over quantity
    1. Engaged members are important
