- partnered with Western Iowa Networks (they provided the building)
            - can rent offices, conference room or open space to host clinics or workshops
- want rural Iowans to have access to the same resources that those in the cities do
- awarded 1 of 65 “fellowships” across the Nation for 2.5 years
- #1 question that they get asked is: what grants are available?
            - Answer: Not a lot.
- Clientele: Mainstreet retail to restaurant. Serve all different paths of those wanting to start their own business.
- working with economic developers to see what businesses are needed in surrounding communities.
- helps start-up businesses complete steps needed to get business going smoothly
- partnered with ISU agriculture business extension office (only one in the state)
- Counties served: Ida, Sac, Calhoun, Crawford, Carroll, Greene, Audubon, Guthrie
- Services offered: business start-up assistance, growth stage assistance, exit planning, business valuation, ag tech innovation, quick books/accounting assistance, lender ready business planning, marketing assistance, peer networking events, podcasting room
