Brag bucks:
  1. Cindy – Son won a place at Vassar college
  2. Adam – collected $571 in cash raised at the bartender event; just received a text that we will have a $500 check
  3. Bob F. – grandson returned from Kuwait
  4. Deb Q. – Iowa won in March Madness; returned from 2 month stay in Florida
Club Business:
  1. New Hope Quilt auction is April 11th
  2. Thank you from MasonMerl and Jameson Polking
  3. Donation request – New Hope for new slings $3622.00

Speakers: Allen Anderson, Eric Solonson, Sarah Foley – St. Anthony’s
Foundation:
  • scholarships season ended on Friday; 105 applications accepted; award $40-50K
  • Golf outing – June 22nd; last year raised $130K; proceeds go to ER renovation.
  • Assisting with grants for childcare center
Service Line Delivery Plan:
AHS building: 80 of 750 employees over there now; childcare center under construction
  • Childcare Center – working through registration; construction; hoping to open June; 104 kids; waiting for playground; warming kitchen will be onsite; meals will be made at hospital and then transported to childcare center
Hospital Master Campus Project:
1st phase: Pharmacy moving to 3rd floor
2nd phase: moving ER from south end of building to north end of building by surgery entrance; doubling size; adding 2 mental health rooms
3rd phase: adding PET/CT scan permanent and not mobile; will add a job for a nuc-med; AUG 2026
4th phase: Main entrance will be on the South side with central registration area; heating coils to make walkways easy during inclement weather
5th phase: helipad: separate from parking lot; heating coils so clear with inclement weather; loading dock area and ambulance bay being flipped
6th phase: parking deck to extend from South main entrance to add 190 stalls to parking; parking will be 2-level

  • 3 new physicians starting and looking for an OB physician still
Staffing:
  • done with travel nursing after the next contracts end; looking to do international nursing next; do this with lab techs now; have some travel CNAs in the nursing homes
