Car – sold and will be gone this week
Kid’s Christmas this weekend.
- ALL HANDS-ON DECK NEEDED!
- Approximately 80 kids again this year.
- Gift bags have been ordered and will be here tomorrow to make wrapping easier and speed the process up.
- Santa will be there as well.

- It takes 8 hours to make an M&M
- Madison, WI – world dairy expo (Canada boycotted the expo this year)
- Toured 2 different farms
- Robotic milking
- Rotary milkers – 125 cows at a time
- Visited a genetics lab – very interesting
- WI is dairy capital of the world
- Quad cities – John Deere plant (seeding plant)
- Moline, IL is the John Deere Pavillion, and you can buy anything John Deere and is open to the public
- Cinnamon Ridge winery – nice winery; worth the ridge
- Fair Oaks Farms – 18K milking cow farms; rotary milking farm
- Washington, D.C.
- Part of tour was cancelled due to shutdown
- Met Ambassador of New Zealand and saw the Vice President arrive home at his residence.
- New Zealand Ambassador talked college sports with Rich; ice hockey and sumo wrestling are her favorite sports
- Upstate New York
- Great Lakes Dairy – HUGE cheese factory – everything was stainless steel
- Spent an entire day at Cornell University
- Entire cow herd right on campus
- Make their own milk and ice cream right on campus
- NYC
- Broadway play
- 911 memorial
- Learn something on every trip! Goal is to learn something every day…he’s good until February now. 😊
