On August 18, 2022 RCSO hosted its inaugural in-person meeting at Margaritaville Beach Resort located Downtown in the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas.
RCSO remains grateful for the support of the Rotary World as the club continues to hit milestones. During RCSO's first in-person meeting PRIP Barry Rassin spoke about the Power of Rotary and shared global examples about the impact of Rotary in countries around the world. Rotarians and Guests learned about the efforts to eradicate polio, as well as special mission trips to perform urgent surgeries and provide critical medical care. Most importantly, Rotarians and Guests learned how one small act of service could change the life of any individual. We were please to have in attendance PDG John Robertson, PAG Lindsey Cancino, PAG Karen Pinder, PAG Carla Stubbs, PP Jason Robertson, and PP Lionel Haven in our midst. Highlights of the evening also included the re-launch of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), announcements of the club's special projects geared towards education and literacy, the launch of our membership challenge, and the announcement about the club's Music Mayhem event. Congratulations to Rotarian Sherella Gibson-Sturrup and Rotarian Lowrell Edgecombe, our Rotary Raffle winners.
