Fellow Rotarians
Through our connections with the Rotary Club in Belleville, I have been forwarded the following opportunity to purchase hand crafted poppies.
Beaded Poppies – We have the opportunity to order beautiful and unique, hand-crafted, beaded poppies from an Indigenous artist, Angela Maracle, who lives in Tyendinaga near Belleville. Each poppy has a safety pin on the back. Each one takes hours to make, as you can imagine, so orders need to be gathered now if we’d like them for early November. Cost is $15 each.
If you’d like to order one or more of these beautiful poppies, please let Cliff know soon, as the deadline to order them is Sunday Sept.20.
