A virtual event on Saturday, April 17th at 6:00 PM for the 17th annual Concealed Revealed Art Auction, an inspiring, empowering evening of art, honor, and storytelling. While this event may look a little different this year as we transition from an in-person event to an evening interactive virtual event, our mission remains the same: to uplift survivors, honor resiliency, celebrate strength, instill hope, and support the crucial and transformative programs in our Center for Safety and Empowerment.
General Admission to the event is free, but registration is required. The auction will have both a silent component, as well as a live auction.

Mina is the founder and director of Humanity Research Consultancy (HRC), a consultancy dedicated to ending modern slavery with a revolutionary emphasis on local representation. Mina has an inter-disciplinary background in engineering, sociology, anthropology and international development. She has consulted in some of the world’s poorest and conflict-affected countries in the past 8 years. With research experience in modern slavery, forced labour, and human rights issues across a wide range of UN bodies, governments and NGOs, Mina is becoming a sought after expert. She is also a coordinator and board director for the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (RAGAS) and a member of the Rotary Club to End Human Trafficking (RCEHT). |

Karla Soloman - Lead Survivor Advocate and Outreach Specialist and Aubri Reed - Advocate and Outreach Specialist Assistant. Karla is a survivor and overcomer. She shares her powerful testimony and works tirelessly to equip individuals, airports, law enforcement, churches, schools and many other organizations to recognize exploitation. Since 2017, Karla has effectively trained and reached hundreds of people throughout the State of Texas and the nation. As a Survivor Advocate, she works closely with other victims and survivors of all ages, to share hope and resources available to assist them in their personal journey to become an overcomer.
Aubri has a passion for unity and raising up community leaders to stand against injustice. Since 2018 she has connected with over 350 agencies and individuals across the state by coordinating educational and collaboration opportunities to learn how to recognize, recover, and restore the vulnerable lives of sexual trauma. As an advocate she assists people to access and understand appropriate resources. Through encouragement and empowerment, she hopes to help others recognize their calling to fulfill their purpose. Mercy Gate Ministries is a family of professionals, volunteers, and survivors who are passionate and committed to combating the evils of sexual trauma through our residential and nonresidential programs. It is our mission to help individuals break the bonds of captivity, impart power over victimization, and provide relational advocacy to help survivors transition to become healthy contributors of society. |
