  • Matt Gatzke: Found Yankees hat during roadside pickup, gave to Chris Parkinson for safe keeping
  • Steve DeStefano: The Bow Interact club peanut butter donation update – 37 Jars collected so far. Interact club will be doing roadside pickup next week.
  • Auction Update: Michelle Oliver distributing flyers.

  • Birthday: Tamar Roberts – It has been a good year, husband likes new job at Bovie Screen Printing. Son is building a tiny house. Younger son submitted master’s thesis, doctorate in Australia. She has 20k race on Sunday.
  • Matt Dodge: Thankful for beautiful fall colors on drive in this morning. Trach pickup last week, thanks to everyone.
  • Ben Kiniry: Auction committee – signup for volunteer tasks.  Vacation in Cozumel, Mexico, Iron Man event & Scuba diving, rented scooter, scary ride around town.
  • Nancy Russell: Boy Scouts Citizen of the Year Award went to John Springer

Goals for Bow Rotary: Increase Impact – New Service Project: think of something new to carry to fruition. Enhance presidential engagement & increase our ability to adapt.
Nancy then shared a story about change brought to a poverty-stricken village in Indonesia – it would only take $60/year 1 child to go to school, with clothing and food.
She then presented a new banner to Bow Rotary for service, and she presented an award to Bow Rotary in honor of 50 Years of Membership – Bow Rotary way indoctrinated on June 30, 1970.
Dave Scanlan presented a book donated in Nancy Russell’s honor to Baker Free Library: “Great Pumpkin Contest”
